Run with your eyes closed for a few seconds.

I downloaded an app call Zombies, Run!. I guess you listen to it during runs and there is a narrative story that makes you running seem part of it. Might be dumb enough to entertain me on a late nighter.

"I'm a disgusting peice of shit and I resent that you are trying to better yourself, so I'm gonna buzz by you (and probably call you faggot) to somehow feel better about myself."

I run without corrected vision so this isn't that far fetched for me.

I don't even like passing semis where there is a cliff on the left.

Distracted driving is a bitch for innocent people in vehicles, let alone those protected only by their own sweat and flab.

You guys would probably be glad to meet my uncle. He and a team of other old-timers ran coast to coast one time in the 80s. He wins all kind of marathons, in his age group it's a blow-out.

He turned me onto Saucony although he swears by Brooks himself.

And that's all I have to say about that

Really been stuck in a rut lately. All I really choke out is 4 miles or so and I feel like my stride is still messed up due to my recovering shoulder dislocation. Brutal three day stretch of heat coming up too.

Flagstaff is insane. Everywhere you look people are running. On the roads and sidewalks in town. On little country roads outside of town. On every trail. It's beautiful.

yuck

The only good thing about my foot injury and having to take some time off is that I haven't been out trying to run in this heat/humidity.

Good on all y'all who are out there keeping at it.

Nice to have my normal lungs back after 5 days in Flagstaff.
