I'm in love with Sam Neil
Its a fun movie
It's an objectively terrible movie. But, yeah, it's a ton of fun.
The real madness is this post.

A movie unfortunately buried by a studio merger and interference, this was Nelvana's attempt to make cartoons that appealed to an older audience, as was the style at the time.

Original print was burned in a fire, so they had to cobble a bit of it together from other stuff.

Nothing to write home about. Animation is pretty good, but with a lot of hokey late 70s/early 80s humor. And it's a bit slow. Great soundtrack though.

Watched An American Werewolf in London this evening. Awesome. God, I love practical effects.

Yes that one. I knew the twist going in, but was hoping the rest was at least some level of entertaining. At least Deadfall had a campy factor

Considering they ruin the twist about halfway through, I don't think it matters.

True. I wasn’t expecting that. God what an awful movie.

Pretty good. The animation is not great but the art style is nice, with a lot of Eyvind Earle influence. More interesting and well executed story than most. Her character is interesting. She's kinda haughty and full of herself, but not in an obnoxious modern way, and it's not really commented on. That's just how unicorns act.

I could see this one getting a remake.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

This traumatized me back in early elementary school. Never recovered. To this day I can still hear that "I'm alive" song in my head.

Thanks for letting me overshare.
