Never thought I would say this but you have a better chance of hearing “Evil Little Goat” than that.
Yeah, I was trying to think about what rarity I would actually really want and that’s it.
Tremor Christ is what I would choose, Brother if it has to a Lost Dog. More likely we’ll get Sad, OTE, or Undone.
I have won.

It's a lot of fun to joke about modern day PJ but at the end of the day its a pretty great thing that we still have them.
The day we don't will be a sad one for sure

Those of us that were there are going to have to have a long chat about the Bob-from-Twin-Peaks looking creep on the screen during Amongst the Waves.

Yes. Keeping it on the screen for like 30 seconds was weird. Like a Formica table

Oh fuck yes. This tour is great for me and while i was seeing them play Indifference to a huge sold out crowd who was in love with them i remember feeling well, its going to be hard when this band quits.

I’ve been 2 feet from it and saw it shake during no Hail, Hail. I’d suck it.

I thought it was a good show. Tremor Christ and Present Tense were good. Hoping Tuesday is better.

My biggest critique is that there was no sustained run of songs (like 5-6 in a row) that just slayed. Every attempt at putting something like that together had some hiccups. It reminded me of Fenway1 2016 in that regard.
Tremor Christ was definitely a highlight--performed flawlessly, sounded great, and the crowd was wicked into it. Release was great as always (although I was worried--I heard at least one on the Euro tour bootlegs that was an abortion). Taillights Fade was also cool--a song with a sound that works well for the band. Not huge into Buffalo Tom, but understand how highly respected they are around Boston. It came at a good point, as Ed started to lose it from Black on (others have mentioned how rough Blood was for him--missing his cues, forgetting lyrics), but he actually did okay with Out Of My Mind. Barely a reaction from the crowd on that one, but I was happy with how it sounded--it's a goofy song that was never meant to be played again, so if they want to play with it and throw it in every once in a while, I'm for it (I've posted in other threads that I wish they would do this sort of experimenting and expanding in their encores). I think in the end I will forget about the flubs and slightly boring moments (as BI said: who the fuck requests Just Breathe?) and while people ask me about the show, I will recall the great moments, but it certainly wasn't a great show.
Also hoping Night 2 includes some inspired runs (like night 2 in 2016), and for them to dig into Binaural and Riot Act--multiple songs from those 2 would be nice.

I thought it was pretty good. The opening run of 4 songs and encore 1 were the highlights. I’d say the best were black and tremor Christ and I also loved present tense but I always do
Encore 2 was so lame. It’s annoying they had to go so short with it (three songs) because they came on stage an hour and a half late

The show was alright. "Sometimes" > "Release" > "Low Light" was as good as what it will be at this point in time. "It's O.K." has lost its magic since Jones Beach.
Fingers crossed for "Sonic Reducer" on Tuesday. I will take it with the usual lyric flubs.

What was the second scratched song? Life Wasted, ???, Better Man, Sonic Reducer. I can't zoom in on the image.

It is a bit frustrating to see those cut songs, especially after multiple reminders of a 6:30 start in the run up to the show.
Having said that, there were some definite highlights that others have mentioned. Tremor Christ was great, and I kept waiting for Ed to blow it since he basically warned us he was going to before it started. I enjoyed most of the first encore. Blood was rough and Just Breathe is dull, but TC, Once, SOLAT, Present Tense and the Buffalo Tom song were a lot of fun. And the Tom Petty moment was nice. The stadium looked beautiful all lit up.

My seats ended up being pretty awesome. Far from the stage, but that section had it it’s own private bar and bathroom! You could go to the bathroom and get a beer and be back to your seat in a minute or two.

So by my count they went on just before 8 p.m. and were off by 10:30ish?
Wonder if the same will hold true for tomorrow....
