The Tour of Brotherly Love was far from transcendent but hearing Gas Panic live was tremendous.

That's a good list. My list is more boring but these are the songs that give me a kick

My relationship with Oasis' music has been very up and down. I used to be a huge fan, then I basically hated them and regarded them as derivative and mediocre, and these days I'm back to enjoying them. I really think Definitely Maybe is as close to a perfect rock album as you can get

Me too. I still think the first two are their only decent albums though. Some of my fav. songs are on Be Here Now, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants and Heathen Chemistry but those albums are so damn patchy I wouldn't miss, like, 80% of the songs.

Yeah, Heathen Chemistry is especially weak, but I really love the hazy stomp of "The Hindu Times"

That's a good one, as is "Songbird".

Upon closer inspection, I think ...Shoulder of Giants is a lot better than Be Here Now and Hindu Times. It was foolish of me to put the former in the same category.

Liam is an asshole and Noel finally had enough, basically.

That said, Noel is also an asshole... he just looks like a saint next to Liam.

I heard a podcast once that discussed their upbringing as sons of a physically and emotionally abusive father, and how Noel took the brunt of the abuse while protecting his brothers. That put things into perspective

per liam, a new album is in the bag. and noel is no longer a potato.

I hope they enlisted AIsis to write the songs.
