I pirate bayed Mulan. I’ve never seen the animated version so I can’t make comparisons. Really pretty movie. Great costumes. The action was okay. The characters were very thin. The hero journey has been told a million times and better than this. That said, I enjoyed looking at it for two hours.

I haven't read any review that didn't totally trash this movie.
I wonder if it plays any better with the Chinese public.
Filming in Xinjiang, thanking the Chinese officials (who also imprison Muslims in concentration camps) for their help, and making the villains code Muslim was a pretty questionable move for Disney.

The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse is a new animated short series heading to Disney+ featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto.
BURBANK, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2020) -- Mickey Mouse and friends are heading to Disney+ in the all new-animated shorts series, "The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse." From the team behind Disney Channel's Emmy Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” cartoon shorts, the new Disney+ original series will debut on Mickey’s birthday, Wednesday, November 18, with two new shorts rolling out every Friday beginning November 27. Ten shorts will premiere this year, with 10 additional shorts set for Summer 2021.
The recent Mickey shorts have been great I'm glad they are continuing them.

I thought Mulan was terrible. I'm not sure why they thought Jedi Mulan was the way to go here. This felt more fantasy than the original, and that one had a goddamn Eddie Murphy dragon in it.

Mulan is a flop then? Im thinking they knew it was bad and thats why they streamed it. But they wanted money out of it, and thats why it has that special price.

Disney pulled the Bob's Burgers movie off of the theater release schedule for this year, was originally supposed to be released last summer. Hoping this just means they know this wasn't a big money maker anyway and will release straight to streaming.

So I’m on Disney + for about two seconds
Did extra work on Veronica Guerin. Crime biopic about a journalist here who got shot by a gang. Cate Blanchett in the lead.
It’s on Star. Just looking through all the additions with that and it’s absolutely packed with good stuff.
