It's his home theater, too. It's just great.
His home theater? I thought he was from Alabama.
No, they live in Nashville. Have for years. He's originally from Alabama.

Best sound in the place is dead center in the balcony.

I have to say I’ve not been to many shows there that people are standing on the floor. The pews don’t make it very easy.
They were standing on the floor for the multiple shows I saw him at.

Jimbo Hart Confirms Departure From Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit
Founding Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit bassist Jimbo Hart announced he has parted ways with the band he helped form. Hart confirmed the news today with a post on X, the social platform previously known as Twitter.

“I’m no longer a member of the 400 Unit,” Hart wrote. “I’m grateful for all the years, all the faces I’ve played for in the course of the band’s history and proud of all we accomplished. I’m happy to be moving forward into a new chapter of life and open to all possibilities, as they may arise.”

The Alabama native held down the low end for Isbell’s band from the time the singer-songwriter put together the ensemble through this past May. Jimbo Hart explained he would miss the first week of the 400 Unit’s June 2023 tour in a post on X/Twitter shared on June 4. “Hey y’all, you won’t see me for the first week of this next tour,” Hart noted. “I’m taking some time to take care of my mental health and resolve some old-school traumas. Thank you, @jasonisbell for giving me the grace and space to allow this process.”

Bassist Anna Butterss stepped into Hart’s role. Jimbo did not return to the band after the June 4, 2023 post and mentioned on June 17 he went into rehab to work on his mental health. Later, on September 24, he noted “I’m absolutely the best I’ve ever been” and thanked fans for their “kindness and check-in’s.” Hart recently celebrated six months without injesting weed and added he has “not [had] a single thought of doing harm to myself since I put it down.”

“I had bone loss, severe infection and neuralgia and without the repairs I wasn’t gonna be singing much longer,” he wrote. “Like I don’t know if I mentioned this in any songs or interviews or whatnot, but I’m a recovering alcoholic from Alabama. It should really make sense to everyone.”

Isbell also said the dental work had, in fact, improved his singing.

“The work immediately improved my singing. Also now I can smell things, which is both good and bad,” he wrote.

Trigeminal neuralgia is a nerve disorder that is centered in the face and affects mouth function such as biting or chewing.

It's an all timer, for sure. Such a great record. I find myself thinking about the lyrics to those songs a lot.

Tremendous lyrics, there's definitely a part of me that misses commuting by train and listening with headphones.
