Me too, several times I thought "I
wonder how much longer before this thing's over"

Tried to watch this today with a friend but I couldn't sell it. I might just go and watch it tomorrow by myself. Definitely wanna see it on the big screen.

Seeing this alone in the theater sounds ideal to me. I'll likely be seeing it with some buddies but I'd probably prefer to fly solo for this one.

Slow day at work so I had this on at different times throughout the day. This is my third watch. This time I was trying to just appreciate Villenueve's use of scale. The scene with the sand worm looking down at Paul is just incredible. I can see myself watching this a few more times in the coming months.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I re-read Messiah while I was on vacation. I can't wait to see if Villeneuve can pull it off if a third movie is greenlit. The good thing is you can get away with a much smaller budget but the story will be a big stumbling block to a mass audience.
