Standing up for someone that you don’t agree with is the way it should be, not cancelling everyone that you don’t.

I liked her character. She was great in the season 2 finale.

I hold the joint belief that she shouldn't have been fired, but also that she should have shut the fuck up after not getting fired over the anti-trans stuff.

Think she was easily the worst actor on the show. If that was the issue, I would agree.

I liked her in some of the fighting scenes but her acting took me out of it a lot. Also she has a very contemporary feel that doesn't lend its self to long long ago in a galaxy far far away. Kind of like Tom Cruise in a period piece it doesn't really work. As far as speech I work for a fortune five company and I keep all non work related opinions to myself. I keep most work related opinions to myself too. I have bills.

Yes and she was a terrible actor. She always had this awful smirk on her face that felt like Jim staring at the camera in the office. Took me out of the show every single time.

And I don't know how beaten down by life you have to be to accept being fired because your boss didn't like an utterly mild take on twitter (or any take at all for that matter,) but its a pretty good sign you've completely given in.

dude, i got fired from a job because my boss asked us to come up with ideas to to better our department and service. i gave her 15 ideas and each one was met by her with, it goes against our corporate culture. all were legit ideas from me and my coworkers. she said in a meeting she could get monkeys to do our job and wants us to come up with ideas on our own. i said i have given you X amount of ideas and you shot them down because they dont fit with our culture. im not suggesting anything else again

a week later i was gone

it happens. you can say whatever you want (which people are leaning this is about right to free speech) but that doesnt mean a company cant fire you for it
