All three songs (Pearl Jam, Stone, Deaf Charlie) are really good to me. I mean, I am annoyed that the Pearl Jam song has a fade out just when it seems it could really build more but it’s not an infuriating as Lightning Bolt (possibly because we know from the live versions they cut it off when it finally got really good). Love the Stone song the most and by a decent margin. That belongs on a Stone or Pearl Jam album - much as I felt about Safe in the Car.

so YouTube Music just gave me a notification that this song is a single release now? I really like the artwork, seems very 90's alt rock; it somehow brings the song slightly more to life when you have an art aesthetic to look at while listening

If I was looking to eliminate songs, this is interesting. I'd keep Alright and ditch ND, though. If I was cutting tracks, that is.

I agree this song would sound good after the Huey Lewis song on Gigaton.

Not sure I’d put near on here, but here’s the order I’ve been listening to since get it back came out. Who ever said into get it back reminds me a little of brain of j / faithful.

Here's my suggestion for a new Gigaton tracklist:

I am not sure it fits on Gigaton at all. It’s more straight forward without the twists and turns that the songs on Gigaton have. The songs on Gigaton move around and sort of explore the sonic spaces of each of the songs. Get It Back is more like a very well done Backspacer or Lightning Bolt tune in that it is what it is, 3 minutes of chugging at its given space and then moving on to the next song.

I think Near would actually fit better sonically, since it does seem to poke around a bit and has a purposeful clunkiness that would somehow be right at home in there.

yeah, i agree that this one belongs in a different album or as a single.
