The lead single, out today, is a cover of “Can’t Let Go,” written by Randy Weeks and first recorded by Lucinda Williams.

In addition to Flag Day, listened to Shannon and the Clams’ Year of the Spider today. I really enjoyed it - very retro sound, kind of the early 60s sound just before the Beatles broke.

Next couple of Constellation releases have been announced.
First up is Source Crossfire by Sofa, releasing September 17. Essentially, it's a reimagining of Grey which was the band's final album and first full-length release for Constellation. This new release re-sequences and remasters nine of the original eleven tracks, and also adds seven pieces from the two cassette albums released before Grey to round out the double LP package. Fans of dark '80s-style post-punk and post-hardcore might find this set quite pleasing. A couple of tracks are streaming on Bandcamp currently:
Out October 8 is Qalaq, the fourth album from Radwan Ghazi Moumneh's Jerusalem in My Heart project. Pursuing further explorations in electroacoustics, Moumneh utilizes his usual mix of voice, buzuk, and various electronics, but they are now threaded with various guest collaborations; there's at least one guest contributor on each of the thirteen tracks. Three pieces from the second half of the record are currently up to check out on Bandcamp:
