Then on a podcast the other day someone mentioned how that used to be a record store in LA back in the 70s. I think that's fun. Is that in the movie?
I don't think so but I like the title anyway. It's evocative and fits the movie, captures a vibe
Sounds pedaristic.

You guys don't remember the scene in Licorice Pizza when the whole gang got together and shared a licorice pizza!? That was the best scene in the whole movie! So many hilarious, classic moments. Oh, what a gang that was. The Licorice Pizza Gang and all their shenanigans. Gotta love 'em, or, well, as they say in the movie: "Or else!" Hahaha, classic!

The wink at the camera from the little kid as he was about to eat the pizza was too much but I guess it’s needed to understand why the title

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

He really captured magic... god damn.. those two lead actors.. just adds to the charm that cooper is who he is and putting everything into perspective that way.. and how he knows everyone like family, cooper and the haims
I knows it's fresh but I think I'd rank this above Punch Drunk Love, as much as I love that movie

Watched this again last night. So good. Might be my favorite PTA movie.
