I must be the only one who's slightly underwhelmed by this rendition. I think they've really been nailing the new tunes, lyric flubs notwithstanding, and this is one of my Gigaton faves, but Ed needs to tighten up that chorus to put it over the top. Musically, it sounds tight as fuck.

My ten-year-old. He heard the Ohana version and asked why it didn't have horns.

GUys, i dont think those are horns on the album. its just stone doing the melody and distorted a bit.

Incidentally, I feel like Stone's nasally backing vocals were a signature of early Pearl Jam that has disappeared over the years.

i thought it was a keyboard effect on the album. whatever it is, a live horn section would only make this band better.

The process for getting the digital download of a bootleg once you buy it on the PJ site is horrendous. It is like something from 1999.

It makes no sense. It's not intuitive at all.

Downloading from Nugs is also pretty antiquated, and they've labeled them all by "disc," so I have to re-number them to get them playing in order.
