for the Seattle show in '13, my buddy got his tix through Ticketmaster and had much better seats than my 10c seats. Yay.EJ wrote:Ah, I thought they'd ditched seniority seating for some reason.

Q: Do you still do seniority seating?
A: Yes. For Pearl Jam shows reserved seated tickets will still be assign based on seniority.
Yeah, at the Charlotte show that same year there were people who were clearly general public ticket buyers who had better seats than my 10C tickets. and they'll run a lottery where the chances of you getting tickets to that show will be .000074%.LikeLukin wrote:I keep imagining that Pearl Jam will break up soon, but keep the 10C running. Then in 20 years they will play an ultra cool acoustic reunion somewhere and I will want my 10C number then...
I can tell you first hand that seniority sucked for Wrigley field seating. they started it on the sections to the side. so if you have/had a great number, your seats were that much worse because of the poor sight lines.MattA75 wrote:Assuming the Fenway set up is how it is for every other show (and given that I believe U2 is one of the only major acts to get away with GA anything in Boston, and that's why the band played Worcester last time through), seniority will hopefully matter for Fenway...if you win the 1% lottery chance of getting anything
For the Foo Fighters in Fenway, those seats were turned sideways. It had to be a very awkward seat. Sight lines were still poor.Chris_H_2 wrote:I can tell you first hand that seniority sucked for Wrigley field seating. they started it on the sections to the side. so if you have/had a great number, your seats were that much worse because of the poor sight lines.MattA75 wrote:Assuming the Fenway set up is how it is for every other show (and given that I believe U2 is one of the only major acts to get away with GA anything in Boston, and that's why the band played Worcester last time through), seniority will hopefully matter for Fenway...if you win the 1% lottery chance of getting anything
