That's probably 3 out of my top 5 for sure. Black and Corduroy are pretty much unquestionably my two favorite Pearl Jam songs.

I have the feeling that this will be the first song they play when touring resumes. Or Release. Either will be magical.

Pissed off and angry about a lot of things today, and finding that Vs. is a great album to listen to when in that frame of mind. It's nearly soothing.

And it all winds down with Indifference. It's a rocking album, with it's own mood. Probably one of their finest sounding album !

Dissident is like glue that binds Faithful, In Hiding, I am Mine, Force of Nature, and Amongst The Waves to Alive .

I can see this point of view, but Dissident also has a ragged edge to it -- in recent years, they tend to polish those songs up a little more, probably to their detriment.

And yet Dissident feels like a polished product as compared to the remainder of Vs.

Dissident is so weirdly underrated on RM; it's very nicely composed and performed

Mine, too. I've always loved it. It still stacks up with the best tracks on the album even if it's no longer my personal favorite. It's top tier.

Re-listening to this song and do I ever miss Dave A. That and Mike's guitar is straight out of Green Day, playing the melody over and over.
