Yeah not sure what to make of the GoY tune - extremely adult contemporary stuff.

I don't dislike the song, but it isn't what I expected.

It reminded me of Stevie Wonder some.

Completely overlooked the release cycle for the new Wild Pink album titled Still Coming Down.

It's out today, features MJ Lenderman and Hand Habits, and the title track is superb.

Broken Chanter released a new album a few months ago, just having a listen now. Perhaps its my love of Frightened Rabbit, but he appeals to me. I love when people lean into singing in their own accent, and when it's Scottish all the better.

Looks like Um, Jennifer? have a new EP out today. That's exciting!

if this guy had a publishing arm worth its salt, he would be more well known and his past albums, which are phenomenal, would've received the recognition that they deserve.

I certainly enjoyed the two albums before this new one - he's very talented and does deserve more recognition for his art.

never heard of The Barbarians of California before today, but I'm glad I listened to Megatons; playing with hardcore in ways that I like

that WP is definitely Lenderman adjacent. I like it after the initial listen, but will come back to it. Really into that Westside Cowboy. It scratches an itch.

The Westside Cowboy record is very good but maybe not as good as I was hoping. It pretty much sounds faultless, I probably just need to spend more time with the non-singles (which I've already listened to death).

I have a lot of time for the Wild Pink record.

Came to post about Westside cowboy.. I really like it
