I actually bought that Ben Folds Xmas album on vinyl when I went to see him live a few weeks ago.... and I still haven't listened to the album.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman is mine for sure. My hot take is that “Fairytale of New York” is a slog to get through. Feels like the “die hard is a Christmas movie” take of Christmas music

It's a nice song. I like the way it lifts during the "the boys in the NYPD choir..." part. It's also the only Christmas song I can think of with the word "faggot" in it
