Did the Flyers just trade for Sergei Bobrovsky's backup? That is awesome.

Columbus just acquired Marian Gaborik. He must be pumped he doesn't have to block 10 shots a game anymore.

Rangers receive Derek Brassard, John Moore and Derek Dorsett.

Now Pominville to Minnesota? After a morning of nothing, the last half hour of deadline day sure is getting exciting.

Probably, I think one of their beat writers said they'd be trying to trade for Bernier this summer, after losing out on Bishop.

Leighton and a 3rd. I don't mind it because Mason has to still have some potential upside... but it just seems very Flyerish.

 Yeah, the Philadelphia Flyers and a struggling young goalie just seem like such a great match!

Trade deadlines make me hate sports fans. The Wings obviously are not title contenders. And unless we're getting Crosby, Malkin and a couple defenseman for future picks, we won't be. Overpaying for solid/average players just to slide into the 8th seed would be absolutely foolish.

It makes you hate sports fans because they want to see a lot of moves to improve the team quickly? If that's what you mean, I agree completely, especially with so many people clamoring for Kiprusoff or Luongo.

luongo said he'd rip up the remainder of his contract right now if he could. he's probably not alone.

No, because they are calling for the head of a well respected GM just because he isn't making moves for the sake of making moves. and now i read your second sentence and see you actually are agreeing with me.
