No but they needs a good live album and that's the ticket.
Just skip "Dazed And Confused" and "Moby Dick".

it's got the goods
like a live in front of 30,000 people version of the BBC sessions disc 2 (the better disc)

I only ever listen to PG anymore. The first 6 albums are all good, I just... only ever feel like listening to PG.

The new songs on PG are all serious bangers but I'm not as crazy about the reheated outtakes.
I burned a disc with only the new songs a while back and I think it's the band's best record:
Custard Pie
In My Time of Dying
Trampled Under Foot
Kashmir
In the Light
Ten Years Gone
Sick Again

I would miss "Down by the Seaside" too much. But yes, that is a ridiculously dope collection of songs.

Rank the PG sides, lads. I think it goes 3 > 2 > 4 > 1.
3 and 2 are close, but there's some distance to 4 and 1 IMO. Still amazing overall, but it definitely peaks during the middle section.

i am gonna also say 3,2,4,1
and also love Down by the Seaside
and will add that i usually only reach for Presence, PG, BBC sessions, and how the west was won
but also reach for Coda , esp that deluxe edition

Yeah, “Down By the Seaside” is beautiful — one of my favorite Zeppelin songs.

The interesting thing about PG is that it's half new songs and half an outtakes dump.
The outtakes are mostly from the 4th album, which easily could have been a double album.
And "Down By The Seaside" in particular is a 3rd album outtake.
But it worked perfectly how it all played out, and it speaks to their genius at album craft.
