I'm hurting just like you, brother. But you can't deny that Injustice is killer. We'll get him into Invincible. Lets find a good storyline to get him started at after.

I actually haven't read Injustice, so I'm being extremely biased about this. If you guys say it's good then I totes believe you. I'll try to check it out.

Man I'll just say I was basically done with DC just being so bored of the same old same old. Toss everything you knew of DC out of the window. This is the most bad ass yet thoughtful versions of the characters you will ever see. The writer has the liberty to make the boldest and craziest twists and turns that you would never typically get from established characters.
It's a self contained story so they are just free to do whatever. Anyone can die and anything goes. There are even a few really touching issues too that help you remember that these still are the "heroes" that you once loved. Superman was once a good man. And then.... just... fuck. He's the most brutal villain I've ever seen.
5 issues in should hook you =)

Yeah that's kind of where I'm at with the big 2 in terms of redundancy. That Sounds cool though. I'll def check it out.

I was into Earth 2 for the first 1 or 2 arcs but they weren't very good. I heard it got a lot better though. Worth giving a try again? If so where do I start?

Moonknight #1 was rather good. I'm still not digging Earth 2. I'm on issue 20 and it's just weak artistically and storywise compared to mostly everything Image is putting out, and yes, Injustice =).
I'll still stick with it a bit since it is a nice change from the typical DC universe. I'm really just getting annoyed with all of this time travel (Justice League books), Batman Zero Year, Nightwing, etc. There's just no consistency now and it's really not fun to try to follow.
I am excited for Batman to get current and see what DC does with BlueBird. I've always been a fan of Batman having a female sidekick.

I hate how Johns writes Batman. He never misses an opportunity to make him look stupid but Forever Evil #6 had a couple pretty awesome moments. Black Manta is a bad ass.
HTI, the Batman/Superman Annual had Red Hood in it. Was pretty good.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to download that now =)
What a mess of a character he is. DC has no clue what to do with him. Bad guy, then maybe lets make him cool with the bat family again, then lets melt his face off, but wait the fans don't like that so we'll leave his face along. Ohhh now lets wipe his memory and he's going to be a good guy again!
Uggg..
He just needs to be the DC Punisher.
Wow that was a fun read (batman superman annual). Great art in the book too like always.

Can't wait to hear what you think. I kind of liked it at the beginning but I just stopped reading it. I love Slade.
