I'm not trying to shit on you. Gates is a brilliant dude, but it's hardly the "answer to the universe".
It's part of a number sequence from equations that people came up with for the math behind string theory. It's not like he's deciphering the DNA sequence of something found in nature.
Don't get me wrong, it's very cool, but don't go all-in on some kind of simulated reality theory just yet.

Picture snapped from the viewpoint of the sun, showing the (normally) dark side of the moon as it crosses over the Earth. The green edge on the right of the still image is due to the time of the multiple exposure causing some type of wavelength shift.

PS (not to be a dick, but): There actually is no "dark side" of the moon when it comes to light, as the far side (the face that's opposite earth) receives the same amount of sunlight as the side we always see. Certainly it's "dark" in the sense that it's not as often seen as the normal side, but it's a common misconception that it gets no sunlight.
PPS: Those pictures are just awesome.

It's not dark in that picture, either, is it?
And it's never seen from the Earth, it's not "not as often seen".
And, actually, nothing exists in our reality until it's seen anyway.... so.... relativity and shit

that's right, when it's "new moon" the sun and moon rise at the same time. We see "nothing" but that other (dark) side is actually entirely sunlit.
everything though is "categorized" as if from our viewpoint....like constellations and whatnots.
