Made a big mantelpiece with some new scaffolding planks I 'found'.
It's after freeing up so much space moving the tv up there.

That fireplace really only gets used in winter. Don't know if I want to varnish this or not.

Customer asked me to make her a garden gate from pallets. I was terrified about this cos I've never worked with having to build into concrete before. The walls on both sides were totally unlevel to each other and took some serious jiggery pokery to get the posts up and approaching level to each other but she's delighted with the result :) I stained it with cider vinegar steel wool and rusty nail mix. she's gonna properly varnish it herself.

HAHA! I'd love to make one of them.
If I only had the skills.

You could totally make a drawbridge. You just put the hinges on the bottom and use some sort of rope/pulley system to open and close it.

I love that you have that faith in my abilities haha!

I might try it. There's a list of things I'd love to make that I don't have the balls to. This is a new addition to the list I guess.

Made a crate table to hold a vinyl collection. Glass going on top. Wheels going underneath.
Gonna stain it now.
