After sending it in I reconsidered my bottom 3 scores, but didn't end up correcting them.

This is the highest I've ever ranked Binaural, and its happened for a number of reasons. It is currently the album I'm playing most and finding most interesting. I was one that had a really hard time warming up to this album in totality. I also used to bemoan the absence of gems like Sad, In The Moonlight, and Education. I still think these songs could have fit into the album, but as I've come to appreciate Binaural for what it is (instead of disliking it for what it isn't) I've found a great admiration for what is there.

Sleight of Hand is the single best song PJ has ever written. Nothing As It Seems is wonderful. I love Breakerfall, Of The Girl, and Rival. Evacuation and God's Dice used to be two of my most hated PJ songs. I have come full circle on Evacuation and I truly enjoy it now. God's Dice is pretty rad too. Then there is Insignificance, Grievance, and Parting Ways. All very strong songs. Thin Air is forgettable, but when I do listen to it I don't hate it at all. Light Years has never been a favorite of mine. I find it pretty boring, but it isn't terrible, and I occasionally almost think I could like it. (I really wish Sad was in its place.) Soon Forget is a stupid song and should never have been on any album, but I can't complain too much about one pure piece of shit making the track list. (Education should've been in this spot.)

That's what I ended up reconsidering. Wanted to give it a couple points based on "Parachutes" alone, but I really don't like the rest of those songs.

Parachutes alone really should at least give S/T a 1 point ranking.

The album is bottom 3 for me, but I definitely enjoy it more than the last two.

There are actually more songs on Avocado that I like than on BS or LB, but there are also way more songs that I hate. BS and LB are both pretty consistently mediocre (LB more than BS) but Avocado is all over the place.
