Well, that's certainly one of the up sides, sure. And probably the main reason why I haven't started any kind of real campaign to stop it. Ultimately, I dig it. But it does have down sides.

There's a section in the Breathing Method that is straight up Dark Tower.

I should read that shit. I read the other three stories in that collection but I never read The Breathing Method. I love those other three though. Great King stories.

I'm sorry bada I don't know. I've not read that story.
I had the same thought, but then I was like, "wait, is The Breathing Method part of the DT mythos? Huh."

Why is this thing only 85 minutes long?

Did they announce an official running time? Interesting. Based on what I've read about the film, that seems about right. But I really wish this was gonna be more like two and a half.

I know you said to disregard, but that would make it shorter than most comedies.

The really cool thing is, if you read The Breathing Method, then it's like the other three stories in the book are simply other tales told in the gentlemen's club.

You really do need to read it, Joey. All 4 stories are great character studies that really show of another side of King. And even now, I can't choose between The Body or Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.

Unless it's in something he has written in the last 10 or so years, IIRC the kid doesnt turn out to be anyone we know from another story. I'd have to check the Concordance to be sure, tho.
