So, I just learned that Johnny Knoxville's new movie, "Action Point" is very loosely based on the real life disaster of a project, Action Park. Are you guys familiar with Action Park? It is quite the amazing story. At least 6 deaths at the park over the lifetime of it and crazy safety stories. There are a few documentaries out there that is worth watching. Defunctland is one, I think.

I'm pretty sure I learned about the place here on RM, someone posted about it previously.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

and Val Kilmer just posted this:

I wish I had my young video podcast crew here for this but here’s my humble announcement that we begin TOPGUN2 tomorrow. Look past my stretched face selfie you’ll see a row of airplanes here in San Diego. It’s happening! And #TomCruise is as clear and SUPERCHARGED as always and this script is AMAZING. And #JOEKAMINSKI our director is inspired. And #JerryBruckheimer is almost mystic in his calmness as a producer. There’s a reason he’s the most successful producer EVER.
As soon as I get permission I’ll elaborate on where ICEMAN is in MAVERICKS world, but in my opinion it’s much more fun that the first time around.

What happened to his goddamn face?

yea, but it will just be huge stunts and action sequences with Tom Cruise running up the side of planes. It's not going to be that much different, lets be honest.

Apparently it was never opened (Cannonball Loop) but rumor has it that it did open for about a month. There is some video of people entering up top and coming out down below:

The last few interviews I saw of Val he could barely talk. How is he gonna be in the Top Gun sequel?

Gotta be just a cameo.

He played that odd role in the Snowman that they ended up dubbing over an entirely different actos voice for the entire film but left Val in it. This was around his last procedure.

I know recently he was doing the live Mark Twain play of his or something.

Health
In January 2015, Kilmer was hospitalized for what his representative said were tests for what could be a possible tumor. Kilmer said on social media, "I have not had a tumor, or a tumor operations [sic], or any operation. I had a complication where the best way to receive care was to stay under the watchful eye of the UCLA ICU."[60] After previously denying persistent rumors that he had been diagnosed with cancer, Kilmer said in April 2017 that he had a "healing of cancer".[61] In a profile for The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed that Kilmer had a "two-year battle with throat cancer...and a procedure on his trachea has reduced his voice to a rasp and rendered him short of breath."[62]

US faces real and legitimate threat to its alpha male masculinity bullshit and starts making propaganda movies. It’s the 80s all over again.

Next up! Rambo!
