No, but he was exhausted. The coach said he should have taken him off sooner.
I was thinking it might have been a pretty big coaching blunder.

I thought it was odd myself, as Haaland always has a goal in him. Better to chase 2-2 and potentially lose 1-3, than to settle for a 1-2 loss. But Haaland agreed with the coach.

He is a great player but not one of the greats. He doesnt have that extra condiment all the leyends have… leaving the field with just 15 more minutes? He is also super young, just stay there if you cant run.

Anyway who gives a shit now? He is Probably making a few reels on his way home

Was he asking to be pulled? I thought the whole point was that the coach made the call (which many are calling a blunder).

If he didn't ask to be pulled, I don't see how that makes him any less great. They'd also have won if his dumbass, selfish team-mate had just passed the damn ball.

Shit was disgraceful. So was Kane's before the Norway goal.

I think flop of the tournament still goes to that Paraguayan chode, though. Although there wasn't as much on the line at the time.

If he asked to be pulled, it would be due to total exhaustion, and that’s a coaching blunder where he should’ve been rested earlier on.

Messi and Mbappe would never ask to be pulled for exhaustion during a knockout game, though. My stanning is in shambles.
