I had some more time to think about it, and I am more confident than ever that I could definitely climb Everest someday. Not a goddamn doubt in my mind

Nearly a thousand people climb Everest every year. It’s basically a tourist trap now. (I am not interested in climbing Everest.)

Have you ever eaten something you personally hunted, caught, or otherwise procured yourself? Fishing counts, obviously, but I’m also curious if we’ve got any wild-game folks in RM

Fishing, yes. Many times. Not a huntsman but have eaten wild game that friends and family have killed. I’ve had rabbit, deer, pheasant, squirrel, turkey. I want to try bear.

Plenty of fish but crabs are more fun. I've used drop pots for both blue swimmers and mud crabs but the most fun is going hooking for muddies in the mangroves or rocks at low tide. It's a buzz. And they are so damn tasty!

Son goes spearfishing often which he loves. He's eaten both turtle and dugong caught by his mates (who are allowed to catch them). Gotta admit I wouldn't eat either of those though. Turtles should be free to frollick as they want imo.

Yes, deer and pheasant. Not a fan of hunting, but I went on some trips with friends when I was a kid.
