Burned through 60 pages with coffee and loving it so far. A different kind of Modiano novel than I've been used to, in some ways.

It's almost entirely driven by this manic voice as it moves in and out of these brief scenes--it's a very different feel than the slow, wistful memories of something like Suspended Sentences
