Has anyone read the book by Corbin Reiff? I picked it up for a cup of coffee at the used bookstore. Should it go to the top of the reading pile?

i have not read it...

been listening to 'Louder Than Love' endlessly the last ~2 weeks

I read the book a while ago. I though half of it was good. I really didn't know the stuff about his childhood so that was interesting as was everything about how Soundgarden came to be and the early days of the band. The latter half was almost like reading some PR stuff: Chris lived with his beautiful wife Vicky and their beautiful children and made beautiful solo albums. To Reiff's defence he does mention in the beginning that many people who originally agreed to be interviewed for the book declined once the lawsuits between the band and Vicky appeared. But I do hope we get another book someday.

No, I think this is a Louder Than Love outtake.

As far as I know they have some several vault songs:

-The early demos with Chris on drums (about 12-15 unreleased songs)
-Louder than Love outtakes like 'Summation'
-The 'new' unfinished lawsuit album (7 songs)

That's def a younger Chris.

Yeah, pretty sure they were gearing up for a 'Louder than love' boxset. Like they did with Badmotorfiner and Superunknown before. They have the material for that. Outtakes like 'Summation'. Plenty of b-sides and the Louder Than Live! At The Whisky live video.

Thats a personal favorite, but its been a while since i put it. Actually, its been a while since i listened to SG.

Today i found out, just by looking it up on yt in passing, that this song is only 1:33 long.
I've had the album for decades.

Great one.
