Did you ever read the book?
I’ve read maybe half, maybe more than half of the original Baum series, but no, I’ve not read the Wicked book.
The first Wicked book is outstanding.
The film adaptation of the musical is wonderful! I like it more than the stage version. Partly because of the exceptional cast, and partly because of the extra time spent weaving in stuff from the novel that the stage show doesn't have time for.
This movie is fantastic. I could go on forever about what I liked and disliked but I imagine no one here cares.
Highly recommend.

I won’t be watching both movies. Gladiator 2 I’ll watch it maybe on Stremio and I don’t see myself watching Wicked in my life. ( maybe on a plane )

I'm psyched for Gladiator II. All I needed to see was sharks in the colosseum and I was sold hard. I never do theaters anymore, but my friend is coming in for Thanksgiving and he wants to see it so we'll probably go.

Gladiator II would be better with an actually charismatic protagonist
