It’s gonna be Warren, I’d put money on it.

Among the names Biden has mentioned as potential vice presidential picks are former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Kamala Harris of California, the latter three once candidates themselves for the presidential nomination.

Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, who Biden has mentioned as a possibility, was on the donor call Sunday, and he described her as “incredible person.”

So I assume he’s got a binder full of women.

i don't care that Biden is senile

he will bring in all the Obama administration support staff who will do everything for him

they inherited the financial crisis in 2008 and fixed it

they will inherit this one and fix it too

bring back Austan Goolsbee to save GM again for the 2nd time

we'd effectively not have a president if Biden is elected. Not that it's a bad thing necessarily.

I read somewhere that basically Biden would bring back the core Obama team and they’d do everything for him. I would be happy to vote for that team, and that whole scenario is better than the current one. But yeah, if the 2020 election features “Joe Biden from his house,” that might spell trouble, to put it mildly. Also, we might actually get paid to stay home a while, then return to a juiced up economy (who knows for how long, but November will be here soon enough). If America actually did take a hard left turn and “cared deeply” about the worker for 6 months, with Trump in charge... I would begin to wonder about that swing vote that’s helping Biden right now.

I don’t know what Democrats thought they were purchasing. Joe functions exactly as poorly as his amazon reviews warned you he would.

This is Hillary all over again. Both missed out on their turn at being President and then pursued it too late to the detriment of the party and the country.

Assuming nothing changes -- Biden is the nominee -- what are people's thoughts on making Bernie as the VP? Aside from the "no way; never gonna happen" takes, what do people think about that? Good idea/bad idea? Seems like it could unite the party and assure a Trump defeat. Or, you know, it could something else.

It's a bad idea. They are both too old to be on the ticket together. The odds of them both dropping dead over the next four years are probably higher than you think. The VP pick also needs to show some diversity. It will be a woman, probably of color.
