Looking forward to beating the shit out of the Blackhawks seven more times, for sure.

Losing to the Lightning may just be the high point of the Blackhawks season. Sure beats losing to all the non Stanley Cup champion teams they'll be doing this year.

I dunno, Blackhawks-Red Wings could be a real battle for the basement.

I honestly think the Lightning minus Kucherov are better than the Lightning minus Stamkos. He's just a more complete player.

Man its going to be a long season with the Wild in the west. How fucking stupid is that. They finally had a good reason to revamp the conferences and we get stuck playing in the west???

I know most people in MN won tbe staying up to watch. Luckily i have an hour advantage but its still too much and makes 0 sense.

Anywho...

Kaprizov - looking forward to watching him this season

The divisions are probably only structured this way temporarily, and with an entirely Canadian division there weren't a whole lot of options. I hope they do more restructuring for next season.

Yeah I don't know why they didn't swap Minnesota and Dallas--someone's the odd man out, of course, but Dallas is closer to the Western sunbelt teams, whereas Minnesota is the only northern Midwestern team not in the Central division.

The Wild has been competing with the west for a number of years.

I dont know why they dont just put detroit, chicago, winnipeg, and st. louis all together like the good ol' days. NORRIS DIVISION.

Pens cannot keep playing so lethargic to start games

Desmith really had a solid game all around

I think Columbus made out real well in this trade.

Their GM is really good.

Yeah it's a fucking steal. Dubois really impressed me in the playoffs last year but Laine is a different level in terms of talent.

The GM (I can't say or spell his name) has done this 3 or 4 times now. And he even let two franchise defining talents walk. It's crazy to me.

That Bs/Caps game had significant tempo.

Caps had the right game plan. Tuukka can't stop what he can't see.

When the Caps are clicking they are impressive. Then they have their moments of defensive lapses. Would love to see them meet Vegas in the finals. That would be some fast paced, big boy hockey.
