I can *almost* buy that this has more of a BS/LB sound to it than Gigaton, but man, there is just not much thread to pull on here.

At the end of the day, they might play more tonight at 8 so we will know better.

From a guitar perspective that’s not like got some at all. The slide down riff reminds me a lot of save you. Some of the other stuff he’s doing (after the 55 second mark) reminds me of their earlier stuff (e.g. the big descending chords).

I really hope that’s new music he’s playing there, I really like it. Especially the main slide riff.

I also don't think Save You is any good - in fact, I think it's the worst song on Riot Act.

I could believe Mike wrote this one if this all hangs together. I can (regrettably) see the line drawn between this, Save You, Mind Your Manners, etc.

Save you and rival are two of their best heavier songs of the last 25 years imo. And riot act is a top 2 album
For me but anyone who prefers bushleager, green disease or get right to save you is out of their godamn mind (or has different musical tastes than myself ha).
