Bucks vs Page and Omega from that show is the best tag team match I have ever seen.Anders wrote:Close to catching up now. Watching this tonight.numbers wrote:AEW Predictions:

I was coming here to post the exact same thing. The buildup, the relationships, the special moves, the quality, it had everything.

Yup, even the subtle looks after the match between Page and the others. Perfection.Anders wrote:I was coming here to post the exact same thing. The buildup, the relationships, the special moves, the quality, it had everything.

I signed up for the TNA plus on Fite. I never watched TNA and thought I would watch some of these PPVs from the mid-aughts.

Absolutely. I also loved the cage match on Dynamite two weeks previous. Cody did great.numbers wrote:Yup, even the subtle looks after the match between Page and the others. I used to love TNA, but often when others were negative towards it. I think between 2007-2013, I watched everything. I even liked the Hogan/Bischoff period. 2017-2018 was probably the worst years, and by the end of that they had lost what they had. They are getting much praise now in 19-20, but it’s with a lower level of talent involved imo. Hopefully they can recover.numbers wrote:I signed up for the TNA plus on Fite. Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
From what I've seen and heard over the years, the early period has gotten praise, but it's a bit like TNA getting praise in 2020, it's missing something essential. Was better later on imo. Can't remember exactly what was their high point, but they had a few ppvs that were amazing in the late 00s.

Sammy is great. Might not be big enough to be a big star.

It was really cooking before the empty arena shows became necessary. They’ve certainly figured out how to do this much better than WWE has, though.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
Much better indeed. Even Wrestlemania felt empty and poor. While I have no problem enjoying the weeky AEW shows. The wrestler audience helps a lot.numbers wrote:It was really cooking before the empty arena shows became necessary. They’ve certainly figured out how to do this much better than WWE has, though.

Yes, although I’m not sure signing him was a good idea.
Loved his last run in TNA/Impact though.
