Tough question mostly because I have a hard time seeing the connective tissue between those albums sonically. One feels like a warm but muddied struggle to find a sonic identity (and yet brilliant at the same time), while the other seems clearer in focus and tone, like they found the space they had searched in vain for on the prior album. Like conflict and then conflict resolved. I’ll still engage in the exercise though:

Tracklist for No Yield:

(1) Given to Fly
(2) Hail Hail
(3) Brain of J
(4) Do the Evolution
(5) Smile
(6) Red Mosquito
(7) No Way
(8) Push Me Pull Me
(9) Faithfull
(10) In My Tree
(11) MFC
(12) In Hiding
(13) Present Tense
(14) All Those Yesterdays

Yes, they sound pretty different. But! If you had to.

the transition from given to fly to hail hail would still give me a jump scare.

The jump scare itself is essential listening.

Also fascinating is that I whittled this down without regard for numbers and ended up with 9 Yield tracks and 5 No Code tracks, but 9 times out of 10 I will tell you I prefer No Code.

I've made a playlist like this before because I'm so awesome, and I always thought that it would make the ultimate Pearl Jam album. Mine was 13 songs and it included Leatherman. I remember it sounded really good with a cool flow, but I was pretty stoned. Now that I'm looking at it again on paper, I'm not so sure.

Do the Evolution
Push Me, Pull Me
In My Tree
Brain of J
Leatherman
Off He Goes
Smile
In Hiding
Hail, Hail
Faithful
Red Mosquito
Present Tense
All Those Yesterdays

Mine would be an EP:

Sometimes
Wishlist
I’m Open
Low Light
Around the Bend
Hidden track: Hail Hail

It would be a shame to lose all that great music, but just think of how great that “Hail Hail” jump scare would be.
