I don't think I ever watched the third one. Don't know why/ I liked the other two.

It reminded me of Lake Eden - a revenge movie without the revenge. Awful.
Yeah I wouldn't trust womens' opinions on movies.
What would you trust women’s opinions on?

Great movie. Were you always this into classic-era stuff? I don’t remember you watching this many killer movies back in the day but maybe I’m misremembering
This is pretty new. I started watching more movies about 3 years ago (as well as tracking them)

At that time I was mostly catching up on movies I'd missed in the 2010s, but eventually I started doing movie night with my parents and they introduced me to a lot of older moves (started with High Noon and a few Hitchcock movies...) and it spiraled from there.

Quantum of Solace

Enjoyed this one as well, did remind me of the Bourne films a few times.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

The peace of this one is kind of a disaster. It also feels like a netflix series or something like that, but overall i was expecting much less so i kinda had fun with a few of the setpieces and Keaton is still awesome. Poor Burton, he completely lost it a long time ago.

Gotta little Vincent Gallo thing going on lately. I've seen Buffalo '66 so many times I don't really need to see it again but might soon. Watched some interviews with him on YouTube, then Brown Bunny yesterday and Tetro today. Modern Coppola is so weird. I might actually try Megalopolitz next.

i love Buffalo '66 but struggle with The Brown Bunny, which I think is underrated, not great, but has its merits. I like unapologetic, visionary artists who create what they want to because they want to, take risks.

Why would someone not want to watch Megalopolis? It's very...uh... interesting.

Interesting. I’m kinda the opposite: I love TBB and like B66. My wife REALLY loves the latter, though - it’s like an all-time top five movie for her.

I’d love to see the unreleased movies he’s made since but I also kinda hope he never waivers in his position that he’ll never release them. Extremely admirable power move
