I had pizza last night. But it wasn't delivery. We went to a place in the neighborhood.
I usually do takeout bc I don’t wanna pay a delivery charge and tip
and like a smart guy you throw those savings into the pebble beach golf vacation jar...

did an online draft for my work last night through CBS Sports. I was 6 picks in before I had to run and take my kid to football practice. No problem, I'll just put the thing on autodraft during the 15 minutes I'm gone. I get back to see that I know own 3 middling tight ends that anyone would have been able to pick up in our auction waivers during the season for $1 maximum. 3 straight shitty tight ends.

the algorithms that these sites use leave a lot to be desired.

Which of these three players would should I start in my FLX:

1. Cooper Kupp
2. David Montgomery
3. Tyler Boyd

It's a PPR league. ESPN's projected points says to go with Boyd. But I really WANT to start Montgomery for ego/pride reasons. What say you, RM?

montgomery. nagy's going to put him to work immediately to try to outsmart lafleur, which won't be hard.

Do you like Montgomery enough to start him over Kerryon Johnson? Because I could put Monty as my RB2 and also start Kupp or Boyd in my FLX.

frankly i would still go with kerryon johnson. detroit's got a new offensive coordinator this year, and they are emphasizing the run game as a centerpiece. given it's their first game, and considering they didn't show anything in preseason, it's hard to tell whether this will be effective. knowing them, they'll completely abandon the run in the second half and i'll have egg on my face. but given what they're trying to do, i think johnson is the better start.

That's what happens when you reach for Mahomes.

Joe, you will be glad to know that the league that imploded last year has been resurrected at the 11th hour and we draft tonight.

I'd rather have a QB I like to watch than some WR on the east coast that is never on TV here.

Totally fair. And Mahomes is gonna be a blast for owners. But that's the real world trade off, is all. I don't fault you for the move. Not one bit.
