Got to the new center this morning and locked my keys in the car. Only the second time in my life I’ve done that.

maybe when this recession kicks in there will be some price reductions

I couldn’t walk for a month. Two over a couple weeks got me back on my feet.Malloy wrote:got a cortisone shot in my lower back. don't think it's going to do shit.
j -- what was day one like for you? i feel pessimistic because the local anaesthetic was supposed to mask the pain i was feeling (assuming that the source of the pain was the same spot as where the shot was administered.) today i've had pretty typical leg and foot pain as iv'e had for months, so as i've thought for some time, and now believe more strongly, it seems that i have at least a second injury.spike wrote:I couldn’t walk for a month. i injured my back last october. very painful to bend over. i tried to walk a lot and do mackenzie stretches. was sleeping on a floor, which kind of helped. then i think all three of those activies started to aggrivate the injury and my left leg.doug rr wrote:tell me what your pain is Malloy...im unaware you had it..
I broke my back in 1988..unbearable pain. L4 and 5 I think..I also come from a family with bad arthritis and my feet (mostly right) is a bitch to deal with from time to time...meds every day for the last umpteen years. I could still beat Lenny at golf though...hope it works out for you. its more annoying the older you getMalloy wrote:i injured my back last october. very painful to bend over. i tried to walk a lot and do mackenzie stretches. was sleeping on a floor, which kind of helped. then i think all three of those activies started to aggrivate the injury and my left leg.doug rr wrote:tell me what your pain is Malloy...im unaware you had it..
after about a month, my left achilles, calf and glut started to throb when i'd sit, walk or stand. got worse, then stayed bad. then my feet really started to hurt. my primary doc said to start with looking at imaging of the back, then we'd fan out to the rest of the left leg and foot, if necessary.
i did end up having scans of my feet (not mri or ct -- it was a mickey mouse scan at my chiropractor's office), that showed collasped arches. got orthodic slips.
eventually had an mri of my lower back, which showed a herniated disk. doc said pt wasn't gettign the disc back in. had the cortisone shot today. more pt.
i'm guessig you've got experinece with back pain?
