it's a small book, a novella I think? I wouldn't have gone for it if it didn't seem quite concise (like the movie tbh)

It definitely has its preachy moments crudely jammed in with no regard to the story or themes, but the worst thing is the lead being so intensely hateble. I was begging for him to die in the worst way possible. He's like whatever the male version of a manic pixie dream girl is. Kind of an autistic simp that wouldn't last a day in the world of the movie.

I looked up the reviews and they are shockingly high. Truly, standards have dwindled down to nothing.

Also watched Manhunter. Pretty cool.
