He's a petulant child. He has to be sabotaging this, right? This is clearly becoming the worlds best episode of Punk'd ever.

“I’ve never been there with John McCain because I’ve always felt that he should have done a much better job for the vets,” Trump continued. “He has not done a good job for the vets and I’ve always felt that he should have done a much better job for the vets. So I’ve always had a difficult time with John for that reason, because our vets are not being treated properly. They’re not being treated fairly.”

The way he speaks. He can barely form full sentences or coherent thoughts. Just unbelievable.

I don't know. I have millions of reasons for hating Trump, but I have to admit, I like him flipping the endorsement game of Ryan.

Whats incoherent or hard to understand about it? He's dead wrong but criticism of the way he speaks is lazy. The New York times doesn't write good thing was lazy too. Let's stick to legit complaints about this guy and not cherry pick a poorly worded sentence here or there because it's easy.

This isn't cherry picking, the same criticism can be applied to virtually everything he says.

It sounds better when spoken. It's like poetry. it rhymes.

Verb is right that it's not a hugely important criticism in light of his ignorance, short-sightedness and latent bigotry, but I am fascinated by the way Trump talks during interviews, the scrambled word salad he spews out. He always sounds like someone who was caught on a lie and is making up an excuse. You can practically hear the gears turning.

the 7-person republican primary style suited him well because he didn't have to talk all the time; he could just come in with quips and insults to various folks

he is probably pretty scared to have to get into a one on one with Hillary where there is nowhere to hide after the novelty of the first 30 minutes of his shtick wears off

I have a morbid fascination with checking up on the big three cable news sites. I don't know why I bother:

12 of the top 13 stories on CNN were Trump stories, all negative. My favorite, buried a bit lower: "Trump eats KFC with a fork"

Even MSNBC wasn't that anti-Trump

Fox was a bit more mixed. Only they mentioned that 3 top DNC peeps resigned today over the email thing.

Then I saw a New York Times article about Trump "doubling down" on Khan attacks. But the only attack mentioned was his vague whining about being attacked by them, which I guess kinda, sorta counts as an attack.

I actually do think it's important because he's obviously fairly successful at convincing a lot of people of something (a feeling? a point of view?), no matter how incoherent or lacking in substance the actual statements are.
