I understand Brady violations are pretty common, but sitting on evidence until after closing sounds like they want a mistrial. Why not just keep sitting on it?

There was that one armed protestor in Austin who got killed, but he was white and arguably pointing his gun at someone like an idiot if I remember correctly.

Was there a single instance of a black protestor or rioter being killed by cops last year? There has to be at least one but I can't think of it. The only black guy who got murdered that I can remember was a cop who was murdered by a looter.

I see the story now, the prosecutors intentionally withheld the HD drone video (and the name of jump kick man, who k-rit is accused of endangering) from the defense until after testimony had completed and only gave them a lower rez compressed video to work with. Withholding potentially exculpatory evidence is probably grounds for a mistrial.
