I think they are at a point in their careers where they can just post on social media and their website, “hey, be sure to stop by pearljam.com for the release of the new single on January such and such! Or check out you favorite steaming sites on that date as well”

Yeah it was never “taken down”. As the one who posted the link, I can assure you it’s still there. I think the converter site I used expires links after a certain amount of time, so people were phrasing that as “link had been taken down”.

How so? If they've provided some of these networks snippets to use during the broadcasts, then they clearly understand those clips will make the rounds.

I think that's a faulty assumption. Bill Simmons had the first few bits of DoTC, it was posted in the pit, and nothing was done.

Well, now I just don't know.

One other thing -- I think I heard that particular guitar lick near the end of the clip in a movie. Snatch, I believe, was the movie title. Can't remember the song title though or the band. Something British.

So from what I can gather - this clip isn't really worth hunting down?
