Trag, please share your egg cream recipe. I've only ever had/ made a Detroit egg cream.

Nope, didn't realize there was a difference. After looking up the Detroit egg cream, seems like the exact same concept, just with a different brand of syrup.
Detroit also uses Vernors ginger ale. And it HAS to be Vernors.
