It says a lot and says it very well. And the performances are superb. I think this movie will one day be considered one of the truly great American epics, but the Corbet name doesn't yet have the clout of a Spielberg. Get in on this one early, folks.

Pretty much, but the last act doesn't pay off at all. The dynamic explored between Leo in DeNiro is just pounded into your face for like an hour and it's like yeah we get it Leo is dumb and easily influenced.tree_ wrote:I thought it was OK, not bad.
