Can someone make it so the countdown timer is actually counting down on the TSIS main page? I don't want to have to go to a different website just to watch a clock count down.

I feel like the general sentiment of the board is going to be like this over the next year...

Pre-Album - This album is going to suck
Leak - This isn't too bad
Release - This is one of the best since Yield
6 months after release - This album sucks

when it comes out it will be all i listen to for a couple of months, then i will mix in other PJ with it for another couple of months, then ill probably take a break from it and PJ after the tour, then when i listen to it again after the break i will start to be able to see how i really feel about it

I am really hoping that tickets for this tour dont go on sale withint he next two weeks. An im also hoping there is somewhat of a real tour and not 10 east coast shows, and a couple out west.

a 25 to 30 show tour would be pretty good, but i doubt we will ever see 50+ US shows again, i dont think they can or want to do it anymore

Just hoping to see something different. Some out of the way shows, or places they dont usually play would be nice to see. No festivals. Etc.

Also, im so tied up with other finances right now.

'I hope pearl jam does this, I hope pearl jam does that' and invariably they don't and then The bitching and complaining starts. Quit pinning so many hopes to it and be realistic and you won't be disappointed.

Expectations or dreams make no difference. We all have varying expectations of PJ and if they don't meet them, we'll complain. Simples. You can't really *stop* expecting anything from a band you've followed for 20+ years, and if you have stopped expecting anything, it's probably because you're getting bored. I kind of respect this attitude which says "PJ can do anything they like and I'll do my best to like it because I respect them so much", but at this point, a lot of us have lost it. Truth is, they've made some pretty inexplicably bad moves over the last few years.
