I was talking about the slug.

For me his best scenes where the ones where he was angling to meet Saw, and then trying to convince him he's on his side (which are truly excellent scenes). Afterwards he was just sorta there for me. Which are your favorites?

My favorite is the climax. What he does to get everything set up for transmission is breathtaking and heartbreaking. But beyond that, his scene talking to Jyn about Galen telling him he could "make things right" is just so pitch perfect. That's probably the scene that endears him to me so much and makes me love him.

If you haven't already, y'all should watch Nightcrawler and The Night Of to get an idea of his range. He was such a powerhouse in those two, that I just felt like this character was a big whiff on the part of the writers.

Do you think? The whole Los Angeles wasteland vibe just seemed so reminiscent of repo man to me, even if the plots were nothing alike.
