Origin film was just a matter of time.
I like the team though!
Im exited yeah...he is awesome and Philips has a great taste for visuals. Hope its gritty and fucked up.
Maybe we'll find out how he actually got those scars!
I usually am drawn to Joaquin Phoenix, so yeah, I'll see this.
He's just mad enough for real that i think he might be the only actor these days that could pull it off.

Why are you making an R.L. Stine movie minus R.L. Stine? That's pretty dumb.
IMDB says no Jack Black, Wikipedia says he's back.

It's alright. Some dumb fun in it.
I'm a little annoyed by how similar the two posters are.

I tried to read this book when I was far too young to appreciate it and have been put off by it ever since. The film I don’t ever remember seeing. Maybe. But this sounds intriguing. M

Let me guess. Michael bay should do it?
I kid. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard the word back I can’t the same sentence as that name. Until now

I don’t care about the property so I don’t care who they give it to. Not Bay because I’d rather he do something more interesting.

I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

thanks for the heads up, didn't know the trailer dropped. Looks very faithful to the book; also looks just like True Detective, a couple of those shots are near-identical.
I didn't really get a True Detective look/vibe from the trailer. But I'm excited for the film.

I get it from some of the shots. But it should be different too. I love the shot of the beach with Foster looking at the girls.
