I’ve watched a shit ton of WCW and ECW during this time where I stopped watching everything other than AEW.

Hogan is such a cunt. Thinking about how much better WCW would have been if he'd never joined makes me angry. So much talent wasted to make room for his talentless friends.

The fact that Brutus the brown noser Beefcake headlined a starrcade should genuinely be a crime.

Guy was great. AEW is the best at the moment, but they lack a star like Hogan or Rock.

They don't do stars anymore because Vince is terrified of being held up.

WWE is so poor at the moment, it’s embarassing. And they’ve got Styles and Bryan.

I actually really enjoyed Wrestlemania. The first show I've enjoyed since the 2020 Royal Rumble (which was the first show I've enjoyed in years)

Still, I can't imagine watching even a second of Raw. It's so over-scripted and dull. I also can't stand the horrible LEDs everywhere. I wonder how the wrestlers go out there without sunglasses.

The only good wrestling is old wrestling. 1997 wwf, early 90s wcw (pre hogan) and early 90s AJPW are the best.

It's an interesting what if. WCW was really pretty good TV in the period before Hogan came in, and then it goes completely to shit once he arrives. However, you cant deny the impact of his heel turn and his role in the nWo storyline. WCW never reaches the heights it did in 96-98 without Hogan. Hogan is one of the main reason things started going down in 98 though, it's all pretty interesting to think about.

Hindsight being 20/20, you'd have to think WCW would have been better off long term backing the young stars they had in the early to mid 90s. Austin, Pillman, Sting, Luger, Cactus Jack, Dustin Rhodes,The Steiners and then later Benoit, Eddie, Rey, Dean, Jericho, Booker, DDP. If they held on to most of those guy's they'd have had a hell of a roster by 1998.

Obviously, it's easy to speculate, but I really think Hogan is the ultimate poisoned chalice in wrestling. He even went on to fuck up TNA, too.

Think WCW still gets killed by the AOL Time Werner merger no matter what, but I dont think they would have had the attendence/ratings/etc. with a company built around those guys and not Hogan/Nash/Hall. As much as i would prefer the fromer.

When you watch Cactus in WCW in 93/94 it's absolutely insane to me that they didnt do anything with him, he was KILLING it.

I think Hogan gets way too much criticism. He’s among the very best of all time, and the reason I became a wrestling fan.

TNA was really great in the Hogan years though. It only tanked around 2015. Pretty good again now.

I don't really follow wrestling at all right now but I like Brian Zane and Solomonster. I like watching Zane's reviews of old PPVs.

OSW is pretty good for old ppv reviews. I like Wrestling Bios for his Monday night wars series and MarkyD123 to laugh at TNA.

Listen to some podcasts. 83 Weeks is really good. Love the shows about Eric’s time in TNA.

Wonder when AEW will beat Raw in the ratings.
