appears to be for this years 1st, this years 7th and a mid round pick next year. just depending on a new contract being worked out with Harvin

Percy Harvin is not worth a first round pick.

Now all they need is for Tebow to back up Russell. I bet 4/5 would like he and Harvin back together again.

Beanie Wells got cut. Yay, Knowshon wasn't the worst first round running back that year!

Ravens trade Anquan Boldin to 49ers for a sixth-round pick. :?

and harvin is totally worth a 20+ pick in the first round--unless there are major behavioral issues like kevin seifert thinks lie behind the trade http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_ ... more-right

harvin would easily be worth a 1st round pick if he actually played more than 8 games per year

the niners practically stole boldin.. as did they with kcs second round pick for alex smith (which is basically a first round pick because its 1 pick into the 2nd rd).. jesus a shitty qb on an awesome team.. did they not learn from matt cassel??

What boggles my mind when a guy like Boldin gets traded for a 6th round pick--isn't there a moment when the Ravens alert the other 30 teams "We are going to trade Boldin for a 6th. He's yours for a 5th right now."? Or does that happen and not a single other team thought he was worth a 6th round pick/$8 million next season?

Final year of contract + 32 years old = 6th.

today is the day, 4pm can get here fast enough :D

i assumed they would make a play for him but last night i was hearing that Tampa is one of the front runners for Goldson, and i fully expect them to go hard for one of the top FA CBs as well, possibly 2, and im still torn on the thought of Tampa trading for Revis, if it happens then i will just be hoping his knee is ok and he can be close to the old Revis, and i hope it doesnt cost more then a 2nd round pick and a late round pick. i am also holding out hope that Glen Dorsey doesnt resign with KC and Tampa goes after him as well, but i will be very happy if they bring in some people to improve the secondary

plus, i dont remember who it was, but they said last night that someone called offering a 7th, so maybe a 6th was all they could get, or maybe a 6th was just good enough when they were going to release him today anyway

This is what's nice about the NFL--you have two mini-Christmases in March and April to look forward to.

The perverse thrill of this, however, is that the odds of getting coal in your stocking are much higher than they are for the real Christmas. I'll never forget how immediately crestfallen I was when Shanny drafted Maurice Clarett.

yep, ive been really excited with every draft TB has had since Gruden was fired, but a lot of them are turning out as busts, especially the 2nd round or 2010, and im sure he will be back and great this year, but Carl Nicks hasnt been what i was so excited for last year because of all the injuries he battled through, and lets not even talk about Eric Wright. but even with all the Bust possibilities, im excited as hell :D

Just getting a new coach has helped the Bucs right then and there. Schiano is miles of improvement over Morris.

i agree with that, but at the same time, it was huge that they spent some money, though that i think was also Raheem's choice, he was supposedly told up front that if they spent money in FA then he would need to show big time improvement in his first season or he would be gone, if they built through the draft then he would get a few seasons to turn it around. i have no idea if that was an option for Schiano, i think the spending was more to make sure they could sell a few tickets, but it definitely was a big benefit to him

Happy news just now for Electromatic and to a lesser extent d,t. I'm sure the way I worded that will make it obvious what that is.
