Yeah, it was about 8, hopefully they go on earlier tomorrow.
I think part of he reason for the crowd dying off was the entire crowd at their seats waiting for 45 minutes before it started.opsopcopolis wrote:Enjoyed the show but pretty pedestrian setlist. Very greatest hitsy. Looooved seeing Army Reserve and Tremor Christ. Enjoyed the backspacer love too. Haven't seen Got Some and Amongst the Waves since 2010.
The tuned down DTE was definitely an accident and they all seemed to think it was pretty funny.
Crowd was weird. Lots of energy for the first 2/3 of the main set and then it just kinda died for the rest of the show. Ed seemed to be really trying to bring it back, but only the Ten songs really got there... oh well
Agreed. No need to play for longer, just start on time so you aren’t rushing through it and cutting songs.numbers wrote:Yeah, it was about 8, hopefully they go on earlier tomorrow.
Yeah, this. No one expected 6:30.numbers wrote:I think everyone expected 7:15/7:30 and it was 8.

The day we don't will be a sad one for sure
Probably. I was a little frustrated by the time 8 rolled around...numbers wrote:I think part of he reason for the crowd dying off was the entire crowd at their seats waiting for 45 minutes before it started.opsopcopolis wrote:Enjoyed the show but pretty pedestrian setlist. Except the last time they played Fenway.cutuphalfdead wrote:Did people really think they'd start before 8? They never start before 8.
From my experience they usually start an hour after the listed time. With the curfew at 10:30 I was hoping they'd start at 7 or 7:15. When they didn't I was sure it would be 7:30. When 7:45 rolled around I was stunned and very frustrated by 7:50.cutuphalfdead wrote:Did people really think they'd start before 8? They never start before 8.

And it was right to be frustrated because that Encore 2 was so lame after a great Encore 1.

That's been their second encore for the whole year.mikejasond wrote:3 songs only, their two most overplayed ones, and one that is underplayed for a reason. I don't mind Alive or Rockin in the Free World I just wanted more songs beyond that.
