Totally. I'm not arguing that it should have been on Gigaton or that it belongs. I just want to make a playlist with that includes all of Gigaton plus these two songs and I'm wondering where they would best fit in the flow of such a playlist. It's just a dumb thought experiment.

I think Near could work with Ed's vocals and a more pronounced Mike lead coloring some spots.

yeah, Near is a pretty cool one for Ed, if he tries a deadpan approach to it. He used to do it super well in the past.

I like it. I also agree that in terms of composition, it's not amazing or anything. But it's right in the quirky sonic territory I wish they would explore more often and reminds me of the middle period so a not-very-objective 4 stars from me.

I have it three stars in the poll but it definitely leans towards four. If 3.5 was an option, that's where I'd put it.

I can hear ATW - the guitar, tempo of the song, and Ed's cadence at 2:33 sounds very similar.

Parts of this song I really dig. The awkwardness of the beginning and the lyrics I can pick out are hard for me to completely ignore.

i just moved this to 1-star because the first 2/3 of the song is so shitty it definitely overweighs the presence of guitar solo at the end

I gave this song a few days off and just listened to it three times in a row. I think it’s a fucking great PJ rock song. I love it. 4.5 stars

I would rank this below Saddam Hussein's corpse but above Can't Deny Me
